ORIGINS
This article is born from Baxter’s necessity of giving its customers a leather with high wear resistance.
TANNING AND MANUFACTURING
Carried out on whole bull leathers coming from Northern Europe, this article is chrome tanned and re-tanned and then dyed in seeping aniline. It’s just through this skilful mix of tanning and re-tanning that it’s possible to obtain, despite a considerable thickness, a gentle and delicate grain. Moreover, thanks to the light surface protection, it’s possible to get a high fastness to light in the long run and it allows ideal cleaning and maintenance.
MAINTENANCE
As for all Baxter’s leathers, and above all for this typology, maintenance doesn’t require particular or specific treatments; it is enough to wipe periodically the whole leather surface with a simple dry cloth.
