With the stunning Ninfea ceiling bookcase, Pietro Russo creates a sophisticated piece of furniture, combining bold design, fine details and purposeful elegance. Ninfea is an open bookcase featuring a floor-to-ceiling tubular structure, maple wood shelves with a leather upholstered panel, and a cabinet finished with an extra-clear glass top complete with integrated lighting. The latter is the product of a wholly unique process. To craft this furniture piece, solid maple wood strips are meticulously hand-pressed together and interspersed with black leather components using an artisanal technique known as folding. The outcome is a bookcase that simultaneously acts as a divider, a storage unit, and a source of illumination, capable of enhancing any environment.
