BAXTER GALLERY LONDON

BAXTER GALLERY LONDON OPENS ITS DOORS IN THE HEART OF THE ITALIAN DESIGN DISTRICT.

Between the timeless elegance of Harrods and the neo-classical grandeur of the National Museum, along the prestigious Brompton Road, Baxter opens Baxter Gallery: a window onto the art of design in the heart of London’s new Italian Design District.

Between the timeless elegance of Harrods and the neo-classical grandeur of the National Museum, along the prestigious Brompton Road, Baxter opens Baxter Gallery: a window onto the art of design in the heart of London’s new Italian Design District.

Located inside the iconic Empire House, a neo-baroque building that in the early 1900s hosted the offices and workshops of Continental Tyre, the new Baxter Gallery is a perfect synthesis of tradition and modernity.

With its 370 square meters of exhibition space, the gallery unfolds through a modernist and rationalist-inspired project, where every detail is designed to surprise and engage.

The ground floor, conceived as a true art gallery, is a play of contrasting volumes that redefines the space in a sequence of balance and tension. Two raised platforms frame the main exhibition areas, making the route particularly dynamic and immersive. Access to the Gallery is through an evocative glass tunnel, a scenic element that offers visitors a double perspective on the setting.

On the lower ground floor, The Apartment is much more than a showroom: it is a refined environment that embodies the essence of Baxter. A welcoming living room, a sophisticated dining area with showcooking space, and an intimate and elegant suite reveal Baxter’s vision of living. Here, design becomes daily life, immersing guests in a world of style and comfort.

In this unique space, Baxter will present part of its new Worldwide 2025 collection, alongside the iconic pieces that have marked the brand’s history. Every object displayed in the Baxter Gallery goes beyond the simple concept of furniture: it is a work of art designed to interact with its surroundings. The space is shaped and dressed with the mastery of a tailor, in ever-changing ways. Thus, each setting becomes unique, with a combination of elements impossible to replicate.
