ORIGINS
With the introduction of Plume leathers, Baxter wanted to give a twist to its original predisposition to use leathers with big thickness, carrying out in this way a leather that we could define as the greatest expression of softness and naturalness of a very pure aniline.
TANNING AND MANUFACTURING
Carried out on whole and full-grain bull leathers, this article is chrome tanned and then dyed with seeping aniline. It’s just in this way that it is possible to get an extremely natural leather, soft by touch, where all past life of the animal remains completely visible and is shown through veins, possible chromatic variations and natural crimping, that give a unique preciousness.
MAINTENANCE
Dealing with a pure aniline leather that hasn’t undergone any kind of surface treatment, we recommend avoiding, as far as possible, a direct exposure to sunlight or to any very intense light source, that could make leather’s colour change. In addition to these devices, we recommend a simple and constant cleaning through the use of a soft dry cloth.
