ORIGINS
Become part of Baxter’s collection in 2014, Polish leather is carried out on whole full grain hides of native American bulls.
TANNING AND MANUFACTURING
This article is chrome tanned and re-tanned, then it is dyed in pure aniline and finally protected with waxes and oils that give a final glossy and natural aspect. Aniline dying is done in two different phases and this makes timing far longer than the usual one to give leather transparency and naturalness. According to a precise technical choice, people only use raw hides of animals that were bred in free pasture; this assures the features
of softness and fullness, with a very refined and delicate grain. The breeding kind must therefore make acceptable any possible scratch, that should only be considered as an evidence of the animal’s open-air life.
MAINTENANCE
Research has led us to the carrying out of this leather typology that offers, by its own technical feature, a higher protection against external agents. For this reason, as for all other Baxter’s leathers, we recommend an ordinary maintenance through the use of a soft dry cloth.
